Stuart was appointed CEO of SME Limited in November 2016
An Engineer by profession, who’s career started as an Aeronautical Engineering Apprentice at British Aerospace. Has previously held positions within the Aerospace Industry as, Licensed Aircraft Engineer, Operations Manager, Engineering Service Manager, Customer Relations Manager and Head of Sales.
Stuart has over 34 years’ experience in the Aircraft Industry with qualifications in engineering and management, including aeronautical engineering at CSE Oxford and management studies at Cranfield University.
The skills, knowledge and experience that Stuart brings to SME will compliment the highly skilled workforce of precision engineers and craftsmen whilst maintaining and preserving the company values, heritage and DNA. With Stuarts leadership and direction SME will grow and develop its Hi End Audio and Precision Engineering businesses, drawing on the design and engineering strengths of the Cadence Audio Group of Companies.
